IMC106 Open Club Website & Marketing Review

We openned the club and invited Trevor Ray Hart (Trevor Ray Hart Photography) to have a website & marketing review. Ben shares SEO tips, content ideas and different ways they can draw more traffic to his website.

Notes

  • Add Schema – Structured Data to your website to help Google Search identify what information is important on your website. Making it clear who you are and what your work is about.
  • Setup a Google My Business page to make sure you’re in a local search directory.
  • Review your competitors to see what keywords they are using, how many times they are using them. Review how they layout their pages and what works well for them.
  • Be specific with your keywords and focus on a page at a time.
  • Ensure your pages are well linked internally on the website
  • Use keywords of places you work / places you want to work
  • Ensure there are CTA’s on your pages
  • Ensure each page has one H1 heading
  • Make sure your consealed text is more prominant and visible than not. Have an introduction above your images and more text at the bottom of the page to explain your commissions and projects in more detail. (STAR – Summary, Task, Actions, Results)
  • Write your web content in your own voice to illustrate your personality and approach
  • Images where possible always try to label your images and include keywords and locations in your titles. Add Alt Text and image descriptions.
