Will Twitter work for us?

Some sound Twitter advice from Helen over at Inventive Workshops.

What’s the point? What do we use Twitter for? I’ve found that the people who understand Twitter’s benefits have usually been using it for a few months and have developed a bit of a plan on what works best for them. Here are a few ideas:

  • Marketing – Product updates, new events, service enhancements, special offers and promotions.
  • Sales – Searching for your ideal prospects, local businesses and suppliers and using Twitter to help build rapport and relationships with them.
  • Customer Service – Ask tech savy customers for their questions post them on Twitter, then answer it quickly, professionally, informatively and openly to build long last customer relationships.
